TURBUD #32016

TUR BUDAYA 2015

To tell me about this event should be confused where I started because everything feels enjoyable and unforgettable. Where all the days busy with extracurricular or studying in the school for two years paid off by a 7 day trip from Bandung to Bali.
We set off by train from the station to the station Gubeng Bandung, Surabaya. We were divided into 2 fleet. The first batch is filled by grade XI 1-5. While the IPA XI 6-9 are in the second fleet. Obviously there are differences in each fleet. I went to class and business-class home with executive class. Class I is the XI IPA 6. Contrary to the first kloter go mengguankan executive and business class return. Hours of departure or arrival is different. The first batch went 15:45 hours while the second fleet went 19.00 in the date, April 20. The return were different we return at 05:21 hours while the second fleet in the home at 10:25 on 26 April.

The most memorable was the moment with force and friends. And of course the food. Where after the return of this turbud I gained 1.5 kg T..T. Not surprising because I was satisfied to bingeing. The most memorable was the food when eating seafood in Jimbaran and buffet near Stone Mountain. Buffet near Stone Mountain has a menu of rice, nasi goreng, gado-gado, glutinous rice porridge, asparagus soup, fried noodles, chicken curry, beef, satay, fruit, salad, dumplings and still more. I ate there seems to 5 servings hahaha. Passable was an opportunity like this will not come 2 times right ?!

Places we go are among others Taanjung Benoa, Pandavas Beach, Kuta Beach, Peak Batur Kintamani, Panglipuran Indigenous Village, the Statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Pudjamanadala, Sragen, Tanah Lot, Krishna and Joger.

Looks like I will henceforth explain photo while naration . I'll look more fun and enjoyable at the same time remembering that this beautiful memory.

Bandung Spot

Gedung Sate

Gedung Sate, with his trademark form of ornaments skewers on the central tower, has long been a marker or landmarks Bandung is not only known to the public in West Java, but also throughout Indonesia and even the model of the building was used as a sign for some buildings and city signs in West Java. For example the front part of the building forms Railway Station Tasikmalaya. Was built in 1920, white building is still standing strong yet graceful and now serves as the seat of government buildings in West Java.
Gedung Sate which at the time was called the Dutch East Indies Gouvernements Bedrijven (GB), laying the first stone made by Johanna Catherina Coops, eldest daughter of the mayor of Bandung, B. Coops and Petronella Roelofsen, representing the Governor-General in Batavia, JP Graaf van Limburg Stirum on July 27, 1920, is the result of a planning team consisting of Ir.J.Gerber, young architect famous graduates of the Faculty of Engineering of Delft Nederland, Ir. Eh. De Roo and Ir. G. Hendriks and the Gemeente van Bandoeng, chaired by Col. Pur. VL. Slors involving 2000 workers, 150 of them sculptors, or expert bongpay tombstone carver and wood engraver Chinese nationals coming from Cantonese or Cantonese, assisted masons, porters stir and waiter coming from residents of Kampung Sekeloa, Coblong Dago village, Kampung Gandok and Kampung Cibarengkok, who had earlier worked Gedong shingles (ITB) and Gedong Papak (Bandung City Hall).
Gedung Sate (ca.1920-28)
During the period of 4 years in September 1924 successfully completed the construction of the main building Gouverments Bedrijven parent, including the head office of PTT (Post, Telephone and Telegraph) and Library.
Gedung Sate architecture is the work of architect Ir. J.Gerber and his group were not separated from the input maestro Dr.Hendrik Dutch architect Petrus Berlage, which bernuansakan traditional architecture faces the archipelago.
Many architects and building experts expressed Gedung Sate is a stunning elegant monumental building with a unique architectural style leads to the architectural style of Indo-European (Indo Europeeschen Architectuur Stijl), so it is not impossible if the Borobudur Temple also adds to the elegance of the Sate.
Some opinions about Gedung Sate grandly among Cor Pashier and Jan Wittenberg two Dutch architects, who said "Gedung Sate architectural style is a style of experimental results, the architect who led the architectural style of Indo-European".
D. Ruhl in his Bandoeng en haar Hoogvlakte 1952, "Gedung Sate is the most beautiful building in Indonesia".
Ir. HPBerlage, during a visit to Gedung Sate April 1923, stating, "Gedung Sate is a great work of architecture, which successfully combines eastern and western styles in harmony". As well as Italian architectural style during the renaiscance mainly on the west wing of the building. While storey tower in the center of the building Meru or pagoda-like roof. There are many other Indonesian architect opinion stating grandeur Gedung Sate example Slamet Wirasonjaya, and Ir. Harnyoto Kunto.
Gedung Sate strong and intact until now, not in spite of the technical and construction materials used. Gedung Sate wall made of large pieces of stone size (1 × 1 × 2 m) were taken from the hills in east Bandung stone around Arcamanik and Mount Manglayang. Gedung Sate building construction using conventional professional manner with due regard to standard techniques.
Gedung Sate stands on an area of 27990.859 m², building area 10877.734 3039.264 m² consists of Basement m², first floor 4062.553 m², first floor terrace 212.976 m², Floor II 3023.796 m², second floor terrace 212 976 m² , tower and porch tower 121 m² 205.169 m².
Gerber itself combines multiple streams of architecture into the design. For windows, Gerber takes the theme of Moorish Spain, while for building dalah Italian Rennaisance. Especially for the tower, Gerber enter streams Asia, namely Bali roof style temple or pagoda in Thailand. At the top there is a "skewer" with 6 pieces of ornaments satay (another version mentions the water rose or jasmine), symbolizing the 6 million guilders - the amount of the costs used to construct the Sate.
Facade (front) Gedung Sate was very calculated. By following the north-south axis of the shaft (which is also applied in Pakuan, which overlooks Mount Malabar in the south), Gedung Sate actually deliberately built overlooking Mount Maras in the north.
In the journey was originally earmarked for the Department of Traffic and Public Works, and even become the center of the Dutch East Indies government after Batavia considered ineligible as the central government because of its development, so it is used by the Bureau of Public Works. Dated December 3, 1945 events which killed seven young men who defend Gedung Sate of Gurkha troops attack. To commemorate the seven young men, monument made of stones placed in the back yard Gedung Sate. On the orders of the Minister of Public Works on December 3, 1970 the monument was moved to the front page of the Sate.
Gedung Sate since 1980 known as the Office of the Governor because as a center of West Java Province, who previously occupied the West Java Provincial governance Kerta Mukti Building in Jalan Braga Bandung.
Governor working space located on the second floor along with the Deputy Governor's office, Regional Secretary, the Assistant and the Bureau. Currently governor was helped by three vice governor who handle of Governance, Economy and Development, and of Public Welfare, the Regional Secretary and Assistant Four namely public administration Assistant, Administrative Assistant Development, Social Welfare Assistant and Administrative Assistant.
However, not all occupy Assistant Gedung Sate. Social Welfare Assistant and Administrative Assistant with the staff member occupies a new building.
In the east and west there are two large rooms that will be reminiscent of the dance hall (ball room) that is often found in building the European community. This room is more commonly known as the western hall and the hall east, frequently used official activities. In the second round the hall, there are rooms that are occupied by some Bureau Staff.
Top floor there is a so-called Tower of Gedung Sate, this floor can not be seen from below, to go to the top floor using the elevator or by climbing the wooden stairs.
Gedung Sate perfection grandly furnished with new building that takes a bit of architectural style, but the style of Gedung Sate contextual Ir.Sudibyo the work of architect built in 1977 is for the Chairman and Members of the House of Representatives of West Java Province in carrying out its duties and functions as the Legislature area.
Gedung Sate has become one of the tourist destinations in the city. Specials foreigners many of them were deliberately been because it has relevance emotion and history in this building. The linkage of emotion and history will probably feel more complete when climbing the stairs one by one provided to the tower Gedung Sate. There are 6 steps that must be passed by each of 10 stairs to climb.
The beauty of Sate Building is equipped with a surrounding garden are well maintained, do not be surprised if the park is in great demand by the people of Bandung and the tourists both domestic and foreign. The beauty of this park is often used as the location of activities that express kinship, location shooting music video clips both local artists and national artists, the location of family photos or photos of themselves even photograph the wedding couple.
The Sunday special environment Sate House lawn be an option where most people to relax, just sit enjoying the fresh air of Bandung or light exercise.
Comparing Gedung Sate the center of government buildings (capitol building) in many of the nation's capital did not seem excessive. The equation is all built in the middle of the green complex with magnificent central tower. Moreover, in terms of the location of buildings and landscapes satay relatively similar to the White House in Washington, DC, United States. It can be said Gedung Sate is "White House" of his city of Bandung.

My Song Report

When You Believe by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston
It's sort of a message song. It's what 'Prince of Egypt' is about, Moses. If we were ever going to come together on any kind of record, this is definitely the right one, and really the coolest thing to me is that after all of the drama and everybody making it like we had a rivalry, she was just really cool and we had a really good time in the studio. We had fun. And so, if nothing else, it was a good experience... and diva-ism, whatever."
—Carey, on working with Houston in the studio, during an interview withVibe.
When Carey compiled her first compilation effort #1's, "When You Believe" was included in the track listing. According to Carey, the song was included because she felt it was "a miracle" that she and Houston collaborated on a record. During the development ofAll That Glitters (a film Carey was working on at the time, later known as Glitter), she had been introduced to DreamWorks co-ownerJeffrey Katzenberg, who asked her if she would record the song "When You Believe" for the soundtrack of the animated film The Prince of Egypt. Houston, on the other hand, was introduced to the project thoughKenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, with whom she had been collaborating on her album at the time, My Love Is Your Love. After they were shown the film separately, both became very enthusiastic about participating in the project.
The song was co-written by Stephen Schwartz and Babyface, who also produced the song. Carey had previously collaborated with Babyface on her albums, Music Box (1993) and Daydream (1995), and Houston had previously collaborated with him on her album I'm Your Baby Tonight (1990), as well as her song "Queen of the Night" from The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album (1992), her tracks on the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack (1995) and two tracks from The Preacher's Wife soundtrack (1996), "You Were Loved" and "My Heart Is Calling". Babyface expressed how he went through more than one version of the song and described its production as a beautiful movie ballad, something different from anything he, Carey or Houston had ever previously recorded. In an interview with Vibe, Carey said that she "liked [the song] the way it was". She had characterised it as "a very big ballad but in an inspirational way" and denied speculation that there had been past rivalry or animosity between her and Houston prior to its recording: "I never even really talked to her until this. We never had any issues between us. The media and everybody made it an issue." In an interview with Ebony, Houston spoke about her relationship with Carey:
"I enjoyed working with her very much. Mariah and I got along very great. We had never talked and never sang together before. We just had a chance for camaraderie, singer-to-singer, artist-to-artist, that kind of thing. We just laughed and talked and laughed and talked and sang in between that ... It's good to know that two ladies of soul can still be friends. We talked about doing other things together, enterprise-wise, which is cool, because she's got a good, vivid mind, that girl. She's a smart lady. I really like Mariah."
While the pair continued to express their positive feelings for one another, tabloids began writing the opposite. There were claims that the two bore ill will against each other, and that they had to record the song separately due to constant tension. While media speculation grew as the film's release date drew near, both singers maintained that they had become close friends, and had only the most positive things to say about each other. Originally, Schwartz composed the film version of "When You Believe", which was sung in the film by the characters of Tzipporah (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Miriam (Sally Dworsky). It featured some different instrumentation from the original, and used a children's choir as well as some lines in Hebrew. However, in order to give the song a wider radio and pop appeal, Edmonds changed some of the song's instrumentals and replaced the children's choir with a gospel one. His version was considered more "commercial" and would make the song "help sell the movie". Schwartz's original version was titled "When You Believe", while Edmonds' enhanced version was titled "The Prince of Egypt (When You Believe)".
